Sea of Milk or Dudhsagar falls is the tallest falls in India which is total height 310 meters. Its water source is Mandovi River which is coming from Karnataka state at Bhimgad. This fall has total 4 drops. It is located in Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park which come in Western Ghats. It is located on Belgaum-Madgaon railway route. Tourists can stop by local trains here but no platform available here while Trans stops here for 1 to 2 minutes. But not rest rooms and fresh water available here; only can stay by camping. Dudhsagar Falls has neither electricity nor cellular phones signal. Forest department charges Rs.20 free from per person. If you want to shot via camera; this will charge Rs. 300. Forest department sales tickets to tourists till only 3.0 PM. Tourists also can visit Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary which has different types of the animals barking deer, Malabar giant squirrel, bonnet macaque, mouse deer and spotted deer.
How can reach:- Dudhsagar Falls is just 75 kilometers far from Panjim city which is also capital of the India. Mostly local and express trains stop here but no proper platform available. Its nearest main railway junction is Margao city which is just 47 kilometers far. Its nearest international and domestic airport is Dabolim which is just 73 kilometers.
